ADÉLA
The Lower Third, The Lower Third (down), WC2H 8NJ , [Venue Details]ADÉLA is a 21-year-old Slovak-born pop disruptor turning raw emotion into cinematic sound. Raised in a conservative culture, she found freedom in music, ballet, and American pop dreams
teaching herself English through YouTube and eventually training under Olivia Rodrigo’s vocal coach. After a high-stakes run on Netflix’s Pop Star Academy, she emerged sharper and more self-assured, channeling personal reinvention into powerful, provocative music.
Signed to Capitol Records, her debut EP The Provocateur is a bold exploration of ambition, pain, and power—from the feverish betrayal of “Homewrecked” to the satirical, Grimes-backed “Machine Girl,” and the hypnotic “SexOnTheBeat,” a track that reclaims intimacy and control on her own terms. ADÉLA distorts the rules of pop to tell uncomfortable truths with theatrical flair, always rooted in unapologetic honesty. “If I do my job right,” she says, “people will love these songs because they’ll find themselves in them.”
